Natural Resources and Environmental
Woodburn and Wedge
represents clients in virtually all areas of natural resources or environmental concerns,
including water law, geothermal law and mining law. Woodburn and Wedge is nationally
recognized as one of the West's preeminent natural resources law firms and has continually
represented some of Nevada's largest mine operators beginning in 1917 with its
representation of the Goldfield Consolidated Mining Company. We help our clients obtain
necessary permits, and develop and implement strategies for compliance. Woodburn and Wedge
has extensive experience in hard rock minerals transactions, including the preparation of
mineral leases, joint venture agreements, exploration agreements, and development
agreements. The firm has extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in
gold loan financings. The firm's clients include some of Nevada's largest mining companies

allocation of Nevada's most precious resource - water. The firm has extensive knowledge of
Nevada water rights law and represents some of Nevada's largest water users, including
Sierra Pacific Power Company and the Walker River Irrigation District. The firm is

Engineer in issuing water permits and in transferring water rights and has extensive

Woodburn and Wedge's tax
